Delaney Partners (Bahamas) law firm is pleased to announce that Carol Misiewicz has joined the firm as a partner with effect from 1st September 2014.
Ms Misiewicz is formerly head of chambers at Misiewicz & Co and her area of legal expertise is civil and commercial litigation. Admitted to The Bahamas Bar in 1989, Ms Misiewicz served 6 years in the Office of the Attorney-General rising to the rank of Senior Counsel before entering the private sector in 1995.
After 6 years of private practice at a leading commercial firm, Ms Misiewicz was appointed to the magisterial and judicial offices of Stipendiary and Circuit Magistrate and subsequently Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court. Thereafter, she established the law chambers of Misiewicz & Co in 2007 which she led up to August 2014.
Ms Misiewicz holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados, and a Certificate of Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School, Jamaica. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, French, from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA.
