Spencer Fane (Missouri, USA) is pleased to announce the addition of three new associates to its Kansas City office. Brian Peterson is an associate with the firm’s Labor & Employment group and focuses his practice in the areas of employment litigation and labor relations. Carlos Marin is a member of Spencer Fane’s Litigation group, and Andrea Chase has joined the firm’s Financial Services group.
All three of the new associates came to Spencer Fane after having spent their summers participating in the summer associate program. Through their experience as summer associates, they all came to appreciate that Spencer Fane has an open-door culture that you often don’t find in large firms. The path to partnership is a goal for all associates here, and the culture promotes that it is a challenging, but achievable, one.
Carlos, who settled his first case this November, values the degree of responsibility he was able to take on right away. All three associates have had the opportunity to work directly with clients from the beginning, and benefit from the constant support of attorneys across the firm. Since coming on board this fall, they have all been given opportunities to become involved in marketing and business decisions that will impact the future of the firm.

Andrea is grateful that every member of the Spencer Fane team works together, and it doesn’t feel like a competition between associates. The focus is always on the client, and putting together the right combination of people and talents to meet their goals.
