The Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP (Illinois, USA) Financial Institutions Group is pleased that Zack S. Christensen rejoined the Firm as a partner. "Many of our clients will recall that Zack's finance and accounting background helped to distinguish him as a deal attorney in the banking space," said John E. Freechack, Chair of the Firm's Financial Institutions Group. "His first-hand knowledge of the financial services industry and the experience he gained from his recent stint with Citigroup will prove to be an invaluable asset to our already robust practice."

As a partner in the Firm's Financial Institutions Group, Zack will represent financial institutions on public and private capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation and general corporate counseling. He also will provide counsel to sponsors of private investment funds in fund formations, governance and investment activities. He is a registered Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and has several years of prior professional experience as an investment banker and accountant.

Zack earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from University of Illinois College of Law in 2005, and obtained his B.S., Accountancy with highest honors, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000.
