Ms. Zhang Li, a senior partner in Zhong Lun’s (Shanghai, China) Wuhan office, was elected vice-president of the Wuhan Lawyers Association at the Fifth Congress of the Wuhan Lawyers Association, which convened 26-27 April 2013 in Wuhan. Among the newly-elected president and vice-presidents, Ms. Zhang is the only lawyer that comes from the Wuhan office of a law firm headquartered outside Wuhan.

At the same time, she also acts as the seventh vice-president and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Hubei Lawyers Association. Moreover, she was the sixth president of the Hubei Lawyers association. As the branches of law firms whose headquarters are in other places tend to be marginalized in local judicial administrations and lawyers associations, Zhang Li’s achievements are of great significance. With strong support from the judicial administrative organs at the Hubei provincial level and Wuhan municipal level, Zhong Lun’s Wuhan office has a propitious future.
