Berger Singerman’s Business Reorganization Team Receives High Rankings In The World-Famous Chambers USA 2013 Guide

The Florida business law firm Berger Singerman (Florida, USA) has again been ranked among the top Florida law firms in Chambers USA 2013 America's Leading Business Lawyers for Business publication, with 16 of the firm’s attorneys and five of its practice teams ranked. Chambers & Partners conducts extensive independent research regarding law firms and lawyers in the United States and throughout the world, and is widely regarding as offering the most authoritative assessments of lawyers and law firms. Chambers rankings and editorials are often utilized by general counsel and consumers of legal services worldwide who consider Chambers assessments when selecting counsel.

In the Firm rankings, the Business Reorganization Team again received the highest Band 1 ranking, which it has received every year since Chambers began publishing in the United States in 2003. Attorneys Douglas Bates, Howard Berlin, Leslie Cloyd, Brian Gart, Jordi Guso, Brian Rich, and Paul Steven Singerman received individual recognition for the Team. In this year’s publication, Paul Steven Singerman is once again the only attorney in the state of Florida to receive a *(star) ranking for Bankruptcy/Restructuring, a ranking Singerman has now had for five consecutive years. This year Singerman is one of only 18 lawyers in the United States to receive a star ranking for Bankruptcy/Restructuring. Additionally, Singerman is ranked nationally and one of two lawyers in the state of Florida to achieve national ranking in this year’s publication.

The annual Chambers USA guide of the best law firms and lawyers is published by the London-based Chambers & Partners. Chambers & Partners publishes similar U.K. and Global guides which are widely respected. Research is conducted via in-depth telephone interviews with clients and with attorneys, each one lasting about half an hour. The qualities on which the rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities most valued by the client.
