The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) has elected Belin McCormick (Iowa, USA) attorney Wayne E. Reames to its organization. ACTEC is a national fellowship organization of 2,600 trust and estate lawyers and law professors who have been elected by peers in recognition of having made outstanding contributions to the practice of estate and trust law.

Wayne Reames is a shareholder whose practice emphasizes taxation, tax controversy, trusts and estates, nonprofit organizations and charitable giving, and corporate law. He has been recognized by Chambers and Partners for his corporate practice. Mr. Reames’ practice includes advising clients regarding their business transactions, estate planning, tax planning, and ERISA. With a background in economics and accounting, Mr. Reames brings a multi-disciplinary approach to the practice of law.
Mr. Reames earned his law degree from the University of Michigan, cum laude and earned an LL.M (Master of Laws postgraduate degree) in taxation from New York University School of Law. His undergraduate degree is from Luther College, summa cum laude. Mr. Reames is a CPA.
