The Florida business law firm Berger Singerman (Florida, USA) is pleased to announce that it has won the 2013 Litigation Department of the Year award from the Daily Business Review, an ALM Signature Award Series. The firm was chosen in the mid-size firm general litigation category and will be honored at a dinner on April 17, 2013 at the Four Seasons Miami.
The award program highlights exceptional legal departments throughout South Florida, not only in general litigation, but specialty practices including product liability, labor and employment, insurance, and real estate law. For firms to be considered, they had to submit an extensive application outlining key litigation cases in 2012, client references and an essay outlining why the firm should be honored.
“We are honored to be recognized for our Dispute Resolution Team’s remarkable work in 2012,” said Paul Steven Singerman, co-chair of Berger Singerman. “Our exceptionally talented team, both attorney and non-attorney team members, work hard at passionate client service and it is because of their effort that we are receiving this award.”
Berger Singerman is a Florida business law firm with more than 75 attorneys working out of offices in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Tallahassee. Members of the firm have expertise in all areas of commercial law, including banking, creditors' rights, business reorganization, bankruptcy, corporate & securities, dispute resolution and litigation, white collar crime, real estate, environmental and land use, health care, tax, estate planning, and probate.
