Carlile Patchen & Murphy (Columbus, Ohio, USA) Of Counsel Bobbie Corley O’Keefe has been selected for induction into The American Society of Legal Advocates, an invitation-only nationwide organization of elite lawyers in practice today who combine outstanding legal credentials with a proven commitment to community engagement and the highest professional standards.
A team of lawyers spent six months researching tens of thousands of lawyers across the country and selecting less than two percent of all lawyers to invite into the organization based on an array of criteria.
“I am delighted to be asked to join such a prestigious organization,” said O’Keefe. “I truly enjoy helping clients solve complicated problems that affect their families, and I’m excited to continue making a difference in people’s lives in the company of other committed legal professionals.”
O’Keefe has practiced law for more than 20 years with a focus in the areas of collaborative law, mediation, divorce and custody, local government law, public records and open meetings. She is a co-author of the Home Rule Handbook for Ohio Townships and a highly trained and experienced mediator. She was inducted into the 2009 Fellows Class of the Ohio State Bar Foundation. Membership is extended only to lawyers whose careers have demonstrated their dedication to the highest ideals of the legal profession and the welfare of their community.
O’Keefe earned a law degree from Capital University Law School and an undergraduate degree from Miami University of Ohio. She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and its Family Law Committee, the Ohio State Bar Association and its Family Law Committee, Central Ohio Academy of Collaborative Divorce Professionals, Inc.
