LK Shields (Ireland) advised Helix Medical on its recent investment in Cambus Teoranta, a manufacturer of medical devices based in Galway.
Helix Medical, which is part of the Freudenberg Group, is a global custom manufacturer for the medical device and healthcare industries. It has seven manufacturing operations worldwide. Medical manufacturing capabilities include design and development, silicone and thermoplastic molding and extrusion, complex catheter systems, assembly, packaging, and engineering services.
Founded in 2006, Cambus Teoranta designs, develops, and manufactures critical components for minimally invasive medical devices used in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
The transaction was led by Richard Curran, Partner, with assistance from Seanna Mulrean, Associate Solicitor, both of the Business Department.
