Paul Hage Voted President-Elect of the Michigan Chapter of The Turnaround Management Association

Paul R. Hage, of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. (Michigan, USA), has been voted president-elect of the Michigan Chapter of The Turnaround Management Association. Jaffe CEO Bill Sider made the announcement.

Chicago-based Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is an international nonprofit association comprised of attorneys, turnaround consultants, bankers and other professionals dedicated to turnaround management and corporate renewal.

Mr. Hage has been a member of TMA since 2007, and has served on the Michigan Chapter’s Board of Directors since 2010. He will begin his yearlong role as president in June of 2013. Over the next two years, Mr. Hage wants to continue to enhance the overall membership experience by bringing in quality programing and diversifying the membership through TMA’s Next Generation program – which allows professionals 35-years-old and younger to join at a reduced rate.

A member of Jaffe’s insolvency and reorganization practice group, Mr. Hage represents asset purchases, unsecured creditors’ committees, debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings nationwide. Mr. Hage has published dozens of articles on bankruptcy and speaks at national industry events throughout the year. He earned his bachelor’s degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University and his juris doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Mr. Hage continued his education and earned his master of law in bankruptcy from St. John’s University School of Law.
