Kuits Advises National Football Museum in Manchester

Kuits (Manchester, England) has advised the UK’s National Football Museum on its opening in Manchester City Centre.

Licensing experts, Anthony Lyons and Felicity Harris-Knott, obtained the premises licence for the iconic 6 storey Urbis Building at Cathedral Gardens which houses the world’s biggest football museum along with a ground floor café and shop, and bar and restaurant on the upper floors.

The National Football Museum covers the whole of football’s history and collection highlights include a shirt from the world's first international match played in 1872, the 1966 World Cup Final ball and the shirt worn by Maradona during the infamous 1986 ‘Hand of God’ quarter-final match between England and Argentina.

Anthony commented, “It has obviously been an incredible opportunity to have assisted with the opening of the Museum which will be a great attraction for the City.  The licence not only provides the Museum with café, bar and restaurant, but also allows for events to be staged throughout this fantastic building.”

The National Football Museum opens to the public on Friday 6th July and should be one of the City’s key tourist attractions.
