Piper Alderman (New South Wales, Australia) this week welcomed Lexia Wilson to the firm. Lexia joins the Sydney office as a partner in the Property and Projects team. She was formerly a partner at Norton Rose.
Managing Partner, Tony Phelps, commented on Lexia’s appointment:
“We are delighted that Lexia has decided to join Piper Alderman. She comes to us with the type of first rate experience and expertise that will bolster our property practice nationally and add to our full service commercial offering.”
Lexia acts for both Australian and International participants in the property sector, advising on a wide range of commercial, residential, industrial and retail transactions – sales, acquisitions, developments, leasing and real estate investment trusts. In Chambers Global 2011, Lexia is noted as being a “respected real estate practitioner with formidable experience...”.
Lexia’s significant experience will complement that of well known fellow Sydney retail property partner Robert Speirs.
Lexia is a former national director of the Property Council of Australia as well as a current member of their Sustainability Committee and is actively involved in education within the sector, both for clients and industry associations.
