BOYNECLARKE LLP (Nova Scotia, Canada) today announced that James D. MacNeil has been appointed Managing Partner, succeeding John A. Young, Q.C., who now becomes Chairman of the firm.
This month, BOYNECLARKE LLP, Atlantic Canada’s fourth largest law firm, celebrates its 40th anniversary and the firm looks forward to continuing growth by focusing on client service and increasing specialization.
Mr. MacNeil has been associated with BOYNECLARKE LLP since graduating from the University of New Brunswick in 2000. A successful member of the litigation team, with a particular emphasis on Construction Law, Mr. MacNeil has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and was responsible for the development and move by the firm in 2010 to its new offices in Metropolitan Place in Dartmouth.
Mr. Young has served as Managing Partner for the past eight years, and as Chairman he will focus on client development and community relations.
