Law firm Boodle Hatfield (London, England) has acted for Marriott International, Inc. on its acquisition of The Berners Hotel on Berners Street, London W1A. The Berners Hotel will,
following a comprehensive redesign and redevelopment, open as Marriott's exciting new lifestyle boutique hotel brand EDITION – the first in London.
The Berners Hotel was purchased from the previous owners (in administration) on 5 November 2010. The hotel has been closed since 2006 and was placed in administration in August 2010.
