Conference will be held on the 12th and the 13th of November 2010 at the Taj Coromandel, Chennai. S. Sundarraman serves as the Chairman of the Southern India Branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
International Fiscal Association (IFA) is the only international organization dealing with the study and advancement of international and comparative law specifically international and comparative fiscal law i.e. financial and economic aspects of taxation. The world-wide membership of IFA now stands at more than 11,500 from 96 countries and the membership of the Indian Branch is close to 550.
The Southern India Branch of IFA is playing an important and active role, both in the development of principles of international taxation and in providing possible solutions to problems arising in their practical implementation. We conduct regular meetings on International Taxation every month.
The Annual Conference comprises of eight sessions. Out of the speakers, four speakers are from overseas. All sessions of this conference will offer the delegates an introduction to the structures that underlie international tax planning whilst providing the delegates with an update on the new and interesting developments in international tax. The Topics and the speakers are chosen with the above background considering the experience and from different countries. The conference also provides a very good platform for networking not only amongst tax professionals but also amongst corporate executives.
The Delegate Fee is moderately fixed at Rs. 3,500 for IFA Members (as on the date of registration) and Rs. 4,500 for non-members with a Group discount @ 10% for three or more persons.
