MSK welcomes Chris Luna to its Los Angeles office as a partner in its Tax Department. He arrives from Foster Garvey PC where he represented diverse clientele consisting of public and private corporations, private equity firms, other pass-through entities and individuals.
Chris has extensive background in corporate, international, and partnership taxation, with a particular focus on domestic and international structuring for transactional tax matters. He has provided invaluable tax planning and transactional guidance to clients operating in various industries, with a particular emphasis on the technology, entertainment and financial services sectors. His knowledge extends across the entire business lifecycle, from assisting startups and seed-stage companies to advising well-established blue-chip enterprises. Chris has successfully navigated clients through critical stages, such as entity formation, capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and exit.
Chris earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and Master of Law in Taxation from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
