Spencer Fane partner Stephen Zralek received the 2023 President’s Award at the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC)’s Annual Meeting on July 10 in “recognition of his invaluable contributions to the advancement of IADC’s wildly important goals through increasing engagement and membership.” He was the sole recipient of this prestigious award.
Outgoing IADC President Mark Beebe presented the award, sharing why he felt privileged to present the award to Stephen. “[The award’s description] does not fully capture Stephen’s contributions this past year,” he said. “Not only did Stephen lead in nominations of new members, but he brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to the Intellectual Property Committee as Chair, including planning and providing exceptional substantive presentations and programs and conducting joint committee meetings. He was an exemplar of leadership in fulfilling the IADC’s strategic initiatives.”
