Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, Los Angeles-based TAGLaw member, is pleased to announce Seth W. Krasilovsky and Susan Kohn Ross as new partners of the firm.
Mr. Krasilovsky concentrates his practice in trust, estate and conservatorship litigation and administration. Mr. Krasilovsky represents corporate, private profess ional and individual fiduciaries in disputes and litigation, including surcharge and removal proceedings, contested accountings, claims for breach of fiduciary duty, and suits involving lifetime transfers. He also represents individual and charitable beneficiaries in litigation and disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty claims, trust and will contests, and interpretation of testamentary instruments. Mr. Krasilovsky earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, cum laude. He also earned an LL.M. from New York University. He is a former Co-Chair of the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute and a member of the Jewish Federation’s New Leaders Project, the Trusts and Estates Section of the Los Angeles County and New York State Bar Ass ociations, the Beverly Hills and American Bar Associations, and a Co-Gift Chair of the University of Pennsylvania Penn Fund.
Ms. Ross is Chair of the firm’s International Trade Practice and Co-Chair of MS&K’s Homeland Security & Regulatory Practice. She represents companies and entities, in both the administrative and commercial setting, in the areas of customs, international trade, transportation, food and drug, homeland security, product safety and import/export law. Ms. Ross earned her J.D. from Southwestern University Law School and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of the sub-comm ittee formed by the Homeland Security’s Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of Customs & Border Protection and the Industry Leadership Council of the American Associations of Exporters and Importers (AAEI). Ms. Ross is Vice-Chair of the International Law Section of the National Security Committee to the ABA, International Trade Compliance Institute (ITCI) Advisory Board member, and Legislative Advisor and Director-at-Large to the Foreign Trade Association of Southern California.
