Acknowledged as a leader in the field of licensing law by Chambers UK, Anthony has considerable experience in pub, nightclub, theatre and restaurant related matters. The Kuit Steinart Levy Licensing Department has also assisted the property departments of other law firms on the drafting of contractual licensing clauses.
Acting for a wide range of clients including Inventive Leisure plc, Individual Restaurant Company plc and Joseph Holt Ltd, the firm’s Licensing Team is accredited by the British Institute of Inn-keeping to run courses for candidates taking the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders and Designated Premises Supervisors.
Most recently the firm obtained licenses for Rosso in Manchester, a new Italian restaurant venture involving England soccer star Rio Ferdinand, and for national tourist treasure Somerset House in London. In addition to this, Kuit Steinart Levy also advised Granada TV, which produces the popular television show Coronation Street on a recent storyline.
