Kuits had a number of team members take part in the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 22nd May, raising over £7,000 for charity Wood Street Mission.
Running a mixture of 10k and half marathon distances and cheered on by family, friends and colleagues, 26 people from the firm raised vital funds to support Wood Street Mission’s Smart Start School Uniform project.
Wood Street Mission, a children’s charity helping children and families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford, uses it’s Smart Start Uniform project to help families at an incredibly expensive time of year, providing children with school uniform essentials. In 2021, they provided over 3,000 children with new school uniform and essentials before September.
Steve Eccleston, Kuits Managing Partner, said: “Kuits is known for its strong personality and family culture, as well as tremendous community involvement and commitment to charity, and after the absence of the Great Manchester Run last year we were delighted, with record participant numbers, to hit the streets of Manchester once again in aid of a brilliant cause.”
