Lewis Roca announced Kristen Martini has been selected as a Woman of Achievement by the Nevada Women’s Fund. Each year, the Salute to Women of Achievement awards ceremony celebrates women leaders who have made significant impacts in the workplace and the community. Martini was recognized as a 2022 recipient due to her determination and passion to providing excellence legal counsel to a broad range of clients both in Reno, Las Vegas and nationally.
As a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, Martini focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation at the federal and state court levels. She represents clients in complex commercial contract, fraud, and business tort lawsuits appearing before Clark County's specialty business courts. As part of her appellate practice, Martini also appears before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In addition to litigation, Martini has employment law experience defending employers on issues concerning worker’s compensation, unemployment claims, unlawful employment practice claims, claims of negligent hiring, supervision and training, and vicarious liability. She has also conducted mediations and settlement conferences presided over by both mediators and judges. Martini was selected as a Mountain States Super Lawyer in 2019 and 2020 and has been recognized as one of the “Legal Elite” by Nevada Business since 2016. She received her J.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law and her B.S., cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Reno.
