Marcus Andrews joins national law firm, Piper Alderman, as a real estate partner in Sydney this month.
Practising in commercial property for over 15 years, Marcus is regarded as one of Sydney’s leading property lawyers, with experience in complex property acquisitions and sales, as well as specialist retail, commercial and industrial leasing. He also has specialist experience with compulsory acquisitions for Government departments.
Commenting on his decision to join Piper Alderman, Marcus said:

During his legal career, Marcus has acted for a number of prominent child care centre operators and property developers, various local and state Government departments as well as some of Australia’s largest retail landlords and tenants. He is highly regarded for his negotiating skills and commitment to client service.
Marcus joins the national real estate team in Sydney with partners Richard Abbott and Margot King. The national team led by Mark Askin and Adam Rinaldi, now boasts 11 partners across the firm.

Marcus is a member of the NSW Law Society’s Property Law Committee and has completed a Master of Laws at the University of New South Wales with a focus on Commercial Property and Corporate law.
In June 2021, Marcus was a named as a finalist in the 2021 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards for Real Estate.
