As of January 2022, Gómez-Pinzón appointed three new partners, who came to take on the challenge of continuing to position the firm as a market leader. With Paola Larrahondo, Nicolás Potdevin and Carolina Bobillier, from the Administrative & Constitutional, Infrastructure, Customs & International Trade and Tax practices respectively, this law firm, with almost 30 years of experience in Colombia, now has 22 partners leading their team.
On one hand, Nicolás Potdevin, a lawyer from Universidad de la Sabana and a specialist in Customs Law, from Universidad Externado de Colombia, with more than 18 years of professional experience in international exchange matters focused on foreign trade operations. He has advised national and international companies on matters of customs and exchange consulting, customs planning, free zone regime, business structuring, customs and exchange audit, as well as in litigation that arise in these matters, both in administrative and in the contentious administrative.
“With this designation we have, in customs practice, great challenges as we must focus our efforts on positioning it in the market and continue to grow our work team. And, as a partner, my challenge will be keep leading the practice so that it is possible to face, in an outstanding way, the investigations of the authorities, as well as the growing national and international consultancy”, says Nicolás.
Carolina Bobillier was appointed as a new partner of the Tax practice, thanks to her experience of more than 18 years in handling matters related to tax planning and project structuring, mergers and acquisitions and business reorganizations; international taxation in business projects and operations; attention to judicial and extrajudicial cases in tax matters, among others.

Carolina is a lawyer from Universidad de la Sabana and a specialist in Tax Law from Universidad del Rosario and has been part of important transactions and consultancies in the country such as the reorganization of Bavaria, tax planning and restructuring of Avianca, tax planning and company restructuring of the hydrocarbon sector, tax advice on the merger of Stock Exchanges and comprehensive advice to Metro de Bogotá.
On the other hand, Paola Larrahondo has more than 15 years of professional experience in the public and private sectors and was appointed as a partner in the Administrative & Constitutional, and Infrastructure practice groups. During her career, she has focused on addressing issues related to administrative law, state contracting, design and monitoring of public policy, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), litigation, and advice on the creation of standards and regulations.
Paola is a lawyer from Universidad de los Andes and has a master’s degree in Arts in Law and Economics, from the Universitá di Bologna and in Droit, Économie, Gestion, specialité Bussines Law and Economics, from Université D´Aix-Marseille. She led the interinstitutional team that prepared and carried out the legislative process of the Infrastructure Law (Law 1682 of 2013), in addition to being an advisor on matters of public law for Aguas de Bogotá, IGT and the Bogotá Metro, in the acquisition of SF Convias by Ashmore, the Briceño-Tunja-Sogamoso highway concession and the public tender for the provision of a fleet for Transmilenio.
