Munsch Hardt (Dallas, Texas), a law firm with over 100 attorneys and offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, Texas, announced that B & H Publishing Group has released the third novel by Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. attorney and author, James D. Jordan. The new book, Double Cross, is a sequel to Jordan's critically acclaimed 2008 Christian suspense thriller, Forsaken.
In Double Cross, Jim's heroine, Taylor Pasbury, a beautiful ex-Secret Service agent with a checkered past and a penchant for finding trouble, investigates a suicide that doesn't add up. A trail of clues leads to Taylor's mother, who abandoned her when she was nine. What begins as a suicide investigation becomes a personal quest for the truth about her past and the sacrifice her father made to save her from a brutal rape when she was a teenager.
"Double Cross is an action-packed mystery, with thrilling twists and turns," Jim said, "but it’s also the story of Taylor's journey toward the conclusion that some sacrifices can never be earned."
Jim's first book, Something That Lasts, was well-received by both critics and the public. His second book, Forsaken, won the Reader’s Choice awards from RelzReviews and The Suspense Zone. Jim's commitment to his readers is to write page-turning stories that will help them explore and grow in their faith.
