Henlin Gibson Henlin Promotes Stephanie A. Williams to Partner and Adds Two Associates

Henlin Gibson Henlin is pleased to announce that Stephanie has been promoted to Partner of our firm effective January 1, 2021. Stephenie is joining M. Georgie Gibson Henlin, QC and Janet Francis who have proudly led the firm together for over 10 years.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree -First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill. In 2015, she completed her course of study at the Normal Manley Law School where she was recognized for her academic achievements by being named on the Principal's Honour Roll.

Stephanie joined Henlin Gibson Henlin in November 2015 after completing her Legal Education Certificate in the same year. She works in the firm's Commercial and Litigation department with particular focus on complex legal issues including shareholder disputes, banking, contract law, employment law, contentious probate proceedings, defamation, arbitration and construction disputes.

As a Partner, Stephanie will continue to further the firm's innovative approach to law and to provide high quality legal representation to our clients.

Henlin Gibson Henlin is pleased to announce that in addition Shavaniese M. Arnold and Shannon T. A. Scott have joined our firm effective January 1, 2021 as an Associates.

Shavaniese holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree - Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of the West Indies, Mona. In 2020, after successfully completing the course of requirements of the Norman Manley Law School, she was awarded a Certificate of Legal Education from the Council of Legal Education. She was thereafter admitted to practice at the Jamaican Bar in the same year.

During her academic life, Shavaniese served as a member of the UWI Mona Guild Council (2017) and was involved in various extra-curricular activities. She has been awarded for outstanding leadership and continues to be involved in youth empowerment island wide.

Shavaniese is a member of the firm's litigation team and also practices Company Law and Dato Protection.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree -Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of the West Indies, Mona. In 2020, after successfully completing the course of requirements of the Norman Manley Law School, she was awarded a Certificate of legal Education from the Council of Legal Education. She was thereafter admitted to practice at the Jamaican Bar in the same year.

During her tenure at the undergraduate level and at the Norman Manley Law School, Shannon was involved in various extracurricular activities. Shannon is a member of the firm's litigation team and r.er areas of practice include commercial and civil litigation.
