Casner & Edwards LLP attorneys Renee Inomata and Stéphanie Smith spoke at The Bulfinch Group’s Sprint Webinar Series, “Return to the Physical Workplace - Key Legal Considerations,” on May 12, 2020. Inomata and Smith discussed the legal ramifications employers should consider when implementing re-entry protocols. They spoke on the following:
- How to best maintain a reasonably safe workplace, including monitoring physical symptoms of COVID-19 among workers while balancing privacy rights
- How to address workers who are reluctant to or unable to return to the workplace
- How current protocols may impact areas of future liability

She advises clients on recent employment law developments, including compliance under the Massachusetts equal pay law and state marijuana laws.
