Boston law firm Casner & Edwards, LLP announces that Hanna Ciechanowski has joined the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group as an associate. Ciechanowski assists in representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases, complex financial restructurings, workouts and distressed situations.
Prior to joining Casner & Edwards, Ciechanowski served as a clerk for the Honorable Brian F. Kenney, United States Bankruptcy Court. Her responsibilities included researching points of law to provide Judge Kenney with information material to judicial conclusions, editing judicial memoranda and opinions, preparing orders on various matters, and corresponding with counsel and parties to different matters. In 2018, she was a legal intern at Iron Mountain, and in 2017 interned for the Honorable Joan N. Feeney, United States Bankruptcy Court, and for the Honorable Christopher J. Muse, Massachusetts Superior Court (2017).
Ciechanowski earned her J.D. (summa cum laude) from Suffolk University Law School, where she was the managing editor for the Suffolk University Law Review, and her B.S. from Marist College (magna cum laude).
