Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) announced today the promotion of Ashley Aten, Thomas D. Berghman, Tiffany A. Harrod, Christopher M. Jordan, Jana M. Lambro, Nathaniel R. Martinez, Andrew McDonald and Austin R. Wyker from Associate to Shareholder.

Ashley Aten (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate practice. Aten focuses her practice on helping clients navigate diverse and complex real estate transactions and real estate financing transactions. She represents clients on a wide variety of deals, with an emphasis on commercial real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and commercial lending. She also serves as a member of the Firm’s Diversity Committee, and she is active in the Dallas Women Lawyers Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
Thomas D. Berghman (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Insolvency practice. Berghman focuses on corporate restructuring and bankruptcy related litigation, including representing Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 7 trustees, landlords, and other parties of interest in all aspects of bankruptcy, such as asset sales and all aspects of litigation. He was also recently recognized as one of the Firm’s 2020 Texas “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers.
Tiffany A. Harrod (Houston) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Construction practices. With more than twelve years of experience in commercial litigation, Harrod has experience in construction, surety, real estate, insurance, energy, maritime, products liability and employment law. She also regularly works with owners, developers, designers and contractors on various matters, including contract negotiations, lien and bond issues, defect claims and alternative dispute resolution. Harrod is Chair-Elect of the Houston Bar Association Construction Law Section, is active in the Construction Law section of the State Bar of Texas and regularly speaks at industry conferences on risk management.
Christopher M. Jordan (Houston), who started his legal career at Munsch Hardt, is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment practices. Jordan counsels and defends a variety of clients in federal, state and arbitration matters. His clients range from individuals and small businesses to national and publicly-traded companies from consumer finance to real estate and manufacturing. A significant portion of his practice focuses on the business side of consumer finance matters relating to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Texas Debt Collection Act (TDCA). He also has written several articles on these laws for Texas Lawbook, ACA International Collector Magazine and the Dallas Business Journal.
Jana M. Lambro (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate practice. Lambro assists clients in various aspects of commercial real estate development, including purchases, sales, retail and ground leases, brokerage agreements, and transactional financing. She also has experience in corporate law, including debt restructuring and refinancing, equity reorganization and division, private securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions. She is a Texas Bar Foundation Fellow and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and The Real Estate Counsel (TREC).
Nathaniel R. Martinez (Houston) is a member of the Firm’s Immigration practice. Martinez supports companies of all sizes and areas of specialization with obtaining U.S. visas and work permits for hiring, transferring and training employees in the U.S. on a temporary and permanent basis. Recently, he received rankings among Chambers USA-Texas, Best Lawyers in America, Texas’ Best Lawyers and Immigration Law lists by Woodward White, Inc. Martinez has also been recognized as one of the Firm’s Texas “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers for consecutive years.
Andrew “Drew” McDonald (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate practice. His practice focuses on assisting clients ranging from institutional investors to individuals in the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, financing and management of raw land, retail, office, mixed-use, multifamily, hospitality, medical, industrial and other real estate assets. McDonald is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
Austin R. Wyker (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Joint Ventures, Tax and Corporate & Securities practices. Wyker has worked with clients in a broad range of industries, including real estate, technology, oil and gas, and more. He consistently advises clients on domestic and international transactions as well as joint ventures, with a strong focus on the legal, tax and business implications of joint ventures in real estate. Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Wyker worked in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services Group and KPMG’s Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Group.
