The National Incident Management System (NIMS) guides all levels of government, nongovernmental organizations and the private sector to work together to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to and recover from incidents. The Incident Command Structure (ICS) has long been established by the NIMS as the standardized incident organizational structure for the management of all incidents.
NIMS and ICS are well-established best practices for managing incidents. This interactive workshop addresses standard NIMS and ICS functions, and how to integrate risk and crisis communication into your communication processes.
As communicators, you must continuously update and adapt to the changing demands of crisis and emergency communication. This virtual workshop will help you do just that.
