Fernanda joined the TAG Alliances team in July 2018. She was born and raised in Mexico City, where she completed a law degree and obtained a Master’s and a Specialty degree in Public Administration. During her time in Mexico City, Fernanda articled at Hogan Lovells and also worked in the Nation’s Supreme Court of Justice. In 2013, she moved to Canada where she obtained a Certificate in Public Sector Management at the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining the TAG Alliances team, she worked at a technology company, where she managed the expansion and member services for the Hispanic Market.

Haley Bockius joined the TAG Alliances team in May 2018. She is a graduate of The University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations.

Melisa Attisha qualified as a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1994. During her eight years of experience at KPMG Chartered Accountants, she had the opportunity to provide technical experience to numerous public and private companies in various service capacities, taught several internal and external professional development courses, and conducted team development programs. After her time at KPMG, Melisa spent an additional 11 years working in industry with both public and private companies before joining Emprise Capital, a private merchant bank, where she played a lead role restructuring troubled, insolvent, underperforming or distressed public corporations in the areas of mining, oil and gas, and technology. With her extensive experience in public accounting, practical operations and business management, Melisa plays an instrumental role in the continual expansion of TIAG® and the greater TAG Alliances.

Richard Attisha has been closely linked to the TAG Alliances since 2002 as a representative for Harper Grey LLP, TAGLaw’s Vancouver-based member, and also as a TAGLaw Advisory Board member.  During his time in those roles, he developed an intimate knowledge of what has made the TAG Alliances successful and a keen sense of the continuing challenges to stay in a leadership position.  

Since becoming the President & CEO of TAG Alliances in 2015, Richard has been a catalyst for the organization's growth, both in size and in the level of collaboration between member firms.

As a former Partner at Harper Grey, Richard was the chair of the Workplace Law group and past chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Environmental Law groups. His practice included representing banks in the commercial collections area and a number of large creditors in CCAA proceedings. He also provided advice and acted as counsel with respect to corporate and commercial disputes including creditor/debtor, banking, real estate, contract and tort litigation, environmental law matters including contaminated site issues and regulatory matters and employment and labour law matters including HR advice, wrongful dismissal, restrictive covenant disputes and labour grievances (for management).
