Ognjen Colic is a partner and the head of Corporate / M&A practice at Gecic Law in Belgrade. His practice focuses on Corporate / M&A, Energy, Infrastructure & PPP, Commercial Agreements, Labor and Regulatory Compliance. Ognjen has more than fifteen years of experience in Serbia and the region. He advised a number of leading international and local corporations in some of the most significant privatizations, M&A transactions, local and cross-border, energy and industry license issues, PPPs and regulatory compliance issues in Serbia and the Western Balkans. Ognjen’s experience includes advising on the very first PPP project structured in Serbia and the first RES power plant project in Montenegro, where he also acted on a number of high-profile acquisitions in the metals and mining industry. His extensive industry experience includes energy, mining, commercial, food, IT, marketing, advertising and others. In addition, his practice includes providing regular support and advice to civil society organizations engaged in the protection of digital rights, privacy and civil rights on the internet. Ognjen earned his law degree from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law (LL.M., 2006, cum laude). He is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association, Serbia. Ognjen is fluent in English, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Serbian.
