Johnny C. Garrett IV practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, domestic relations, estate planning and probate. He practices in both the Nashville and Sumner County offices.
Johnny says the most rewarding part of being a lawyer is the opportunity to gain people’s trust through consistent and diligent counsel, guiding them through some of the most challenging and difficult times in their lives. He enjoys serving his clients and solving their legal problems through litigation or negotiation.
Johnny joined the firm as a law clerk while in law school in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a litigation specialist for Medical Reimbursements of America, LLC, negotiating large balance accident/injury hospital patient accounts with attorneys across the nation as well as tracking federal and state regulated developments in insurance reimbursement laws, such as HIPAA, workers’ compensation, Medicare secondary payer compliance and subrogation.
While also practicing law, Johnny remains active in the Sumner County community. He is a board member of the United Way of Sumner County, Leadership Sumner and a member of the Hendersonville Rotary Club. Johnny serves on the President’s advisory board at Goodpasture Christian School and is a Commissioner At-Large in the Goodlettsville Baseball program. He believes the talents he has as a lawyer provide an obligation to give back to his community. Johnny resides in Hendersonville with his wife and their three children.
