He graduated in law from the University of Costa Rica (1993), he has an MBA from Indiana University (1996) and is a Fulbright scholar. His continuing education includes a bachelor's degree in special markets (University of Costa Rica, 2001) and several courses in business and corporate finance. He is a member of the Bar Association of Costa Rica and a representative of the company in the Latin American Venture Capital Association.
