Krissia has over fifteen years experience in providing corporate legal counsel to local and foreign companies as they conduct their business in El Salvador and well as civil and mercantile legal experience with emphasis in mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial real estate issues and international contracts. She also provides advice on the public bidding and state contracting processes in El Salvador. Krissia obtained a BA from Tulane University in New Orleans and a J.D. from the Universidad Dr. José Matias Delgado in San salvador.  

Examples of legal transactions in which Krissia has advised include:

• Advised a German chemical and pharmaceutical company in the sale of its household division in El Salvador.
• Advised a Salvadoran chain of department stores in the acquisition of a furniture and electronic goods chain of stores in Central America and in all the legal matters related to such acquisition.
• Advised a Salvadoran chain of department stores in the acquisition of the largest furniture and electronic goods retailer in the Caribbean, coordinating 11 jurisdictions including Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados & Belize.
• Advised the biggest manufacturing companies of beer, non-alcoholic beverages and purified water in El Salvador for a period of eight years, including, all the legal advice on the sale of beverage businesses to a new local holding company, which is the current manufacturer and distributor, and all the legal aspects related to the merger and integration process.
• Advised two banks in regulatory and corporate aspects in the merger and integration process of financial conglomerates in El Salvador.
• Provided advice on aeronautical law to finance companies related to aircraft leases to the local airline company.
