Matthew is a practical, results-driven attorney, helping businesses, non-profits, and individuals achieve favorable results both in and out of court. His wide-ranging experience encompasses business and regulatory disputes between private parties and against government regulators and licensing entities. This includes breach of contract claims, employment litigation, property litigation, probate, estate, and trust litigation, insurance coverage issues, products liability, dram shop liability, timber trespass, personal injury, and more.

Matthew takes a broad view to his role as counselor. He helps his clients identify their goals, and then vigorously pursues those goals through negotiation, mediation, private arbitration, or litigation in state or federal court..

Before practicing law, Matthew taught high school English in eastern Washington State. He is fluent in Spanish, and has traveled throughout Spain and Mexico. When not advocating for his clients, Matthew is constantly working at improving his already impressive culinary repertoire, and enjoying time with his wife and three children.
