Jeff’s experience spans a broad range of commercial real estate transactions and real estate development representing developers, institutional investors such as funds and real estate investment trusts, as well as non-institutional and entrepreneurial investors in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, management and development matters including vacant land, shopping centers, apartment building complexes, manufacturing facilities, distressed properties, and other commercial property. His experience includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale contracts, condominium and homeowners’ association declarations and documents, common interest documentation, management agreements and leases. He assists developers in establishing flexible, practical and feasible legal structures, formulating governing documents, and filing documentation with state and federal governmental agencies, as well as broker licensing issues and issues relating to out-of-state registration of residential projects. In addition, Jeff assists developers, real estate investment managers and other clients in real property transactions, acquisitions, sales, compliance with land use and zoning regulations, and compliance with the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act. Such representations include all aspects of due diligence, zoning and land use review, survey review, and negotiating and drafting contracts and other documentation. Through his experience, Jeff has working knowledge of the procedures and techniques which are critical to understanding, analyzing, structuring and negotiating commercial real estate transactions.
