Biography:
Dr. Fawaz Alkhateeb, a Partner and Director at Taher Group Law Firm, is a distinguished legal practitioner with authorization to practice before all courts in Kuwait, including the Constitutional and Supreme Courts. His academic journey in law began with a Bachelor of Law Degree from Kuwait University in 2009, which was further enriched by a Master's degree in Corporate Law from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2012, culminating in a PhD in Finance Law from Durham University, UK, in 2021.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Alkhateeb has contributed to various prestigious institutions. His roles have included Coordinator and Associate Member at Durham University's Institute of Commercial and Corporate Law from 2018 to 2020, and Teaching Assistant at Kuwait International Law School (KILAW) from 2014 to 2015. Currently, he serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at KILAW and is a member of the Board of Directors at the Kuwait Institute of Law and Legal Studies.
Dr. Alkhateeb's professional path also features tenure with notable law firms such as Clifford Chance and Hill Dickinson, alongside a significant role at the University of Manchester in 2012, where he emerged as a leading legal scholar at the British Legal Counselling Centre in Manchester.

A Certified Quality Auditor with the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) since 2014, Dr. Alkhateeb also acts as a registered legal guardian with the Judicial Court - Ministry of Justice in Kuwait and has been an arbitrator with the Commercial Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Arbitration Center of the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association (BAR) since 2015.
His leadership has extended to serving as a financial advisor to the Office of His Excellency the Minister of Finance in 2022 and authoring a wealth of research papers and legal studies, focusing on areas such as financial law, corporate law, and corporate crimes.
