Heinz-Gerd (HG) Pinkernell, born in 1970, is a German attorney. He advises on capital investment law, on the conceptual structuring of investment funds, on company and partnership law, on the law of securities and investment supervision, on banking law, and in the area of anti-money laundering.
Typical matters handled by Mr. Pinkernell include:
conception and issuing of prospectuses of capital investments in the form of closedend
funds, including advising in relation to approval procedures of the Federal
Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and in relation to the publication of and
amendments to prospectuses;
advising and contractual structuring for secondary market trading with shares in closed-end funds, including trading platforms;
structuring the distribution of capital investments;

Mr. Pinkernell began his legal career in a large bank, which was followed by a position as legal advisor in a large, listed issuing house. After another station working as a legal advisor to an operator of a closed-end restricted fund (secondary market and private equity in the shipping branch), Mr. Pinkernell joined GGV in October 2010.
