Kevin is a member of the firm's Management Committee, and Section Head of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Creditors' Rights Group, which consists of over 25 attorneys and paralegals in Dallas, Houston and Austin. He joined Munsch Hardt in February 1999 after having worked in the bankruptcy section of another Dallas, Texas based law firm. He has represented creditors, debtors, unsecured creditors' committees and trustees in bankruptcy cases involving many industries including retail, oil and gas, food services, transportation, telecommunications, health care and real estate. His practice involves assisting clients in all areas of bankruptcy including loan workouts, asset sales and complex litigation. Kevin has represented clients in many of the more notable cases including Enron Corporation, Kmart, Conseco, Adelphia Communications Corporation, United Airlines, VarTec, Mirant Corporation, Pilgrims Pride and Texas Rangers Baseball Partners. He began his legal career with a four year judicial clerkship with the Honorable Houston Abel, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Texas.
