Dennis's practice centers on securities and commercial litigation. His securities practice includes federal and state fiduciary appointments in large fraud cases, and representing various parties involved in such matters. These cases involve distressed asset issues, insider claims, foreign asset recovery, claims administration, and parallel civil and criminal claims, including class actions and arbitrations. His commercial practice includes state court receiverships arising from various commercial disputes, as well as fair housing litigation, suits involving directors and officers, and insurance coverage matters.
Dennis is experienced in handling federal and state court litigation, both at the trial court and appellate level. He has appeared in bankruptcy courts, handled arbitrations, participated in administrative proceedings and brought foreign actions. He also coordinates pro bono matters for the firm, and has participated in a number of Dallas charitable endeavors, including most recently the founding of an inner-city legal clinic called ACT.
