Tim is widely recognized for his skillful management of large, complex litigation cases, including class actions, involving professional liability, product liability, construction defect and negligent design, catastrophic personal injuries and defence of public authorities.
Tim works in partnership with his clients; sophisticated litigants who appreciate his talent for quickly analyzing and assessing claims and bringing them to a prompt and fair resolution. He has defended financial advisors, insurance brokers, real estate agents, and engineers from a wide variety of disciplines. He has extensive experience in automobile insurance issues with a focus on catastrophic claims involving head or spinal cord injuries. He also represents municipalities and other public authorities in claims involving road design and maintenance as well as regulatory negligence. Tim’s product liability experience includes complex claims involving the interaction of medical and technical issues.
Tim has successfully litigated cases before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal.
