Profile: Kath heads the Banking Group and qualified in 1988. She joined the firm in October 1994 having previously practised for six years at Slaughter and May. Kathryn has extensive banking experience and acts for a number of major banks, as well as “Blue Chip” corporate clients, on a wide range of financing transactions. These include single lender and syndicated loans, both secured and unsecured, acquisition finance, project financing and asset financings, in particular, aircraft and other large assets. Kath has advised on loans to venture capital and other investment funds, on preference share issues and other capital investment projects, swaps, bonds and other capital markets instruments. Kathryn also advises on non-contentious insolvency issues.
