Nicos Papaefstathiou is the Managing Partner of the firm and has a wide scope of expertise across numerous legal practice area.

He was president of the Union of Balkan Bar Associations between 2004 and 2006, and since 2015, he has been the president of the Accountants’ Disciplinary Board. He also remains a member of the Tassos Papadopoulos Centre for Studies (since 2010), and the Co-ordinating Body against Corruption.
In 2012, he was appointed by the Council of Ministers as a non-executive member of the board of the Cyprus Hydrocarbons State Company, which is a state-owned body that was established in the same year, to handle the emergent national issue of natural gas, including its import & export, liquefaction and transport. Between 2004 and 2010, he served as president of the committee established by the State Officers of the Republic (Property Statement and Control) Law of 2004.
He was president of the Cyprus Bar Association between 2000 and 2006.
Until 2006, Nicos served as a member of the Legal Council (1994-2006), the Lawyers Disciplinary Board (2000-2006), the Lawyers Pension Fund (1994-1997, 2000-2006) the National Organisation for the Protection of Human Rights (2000-2006), as well as the head of the Cyprus Delegation to the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) (2000-2006).
Nicos obtained his law degree from the University of Salonica, Greece and also holds an LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary College, University of London. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 1980.
