Adelaida (Adi) Ferchmin is a member of Lugenbuhl’s Admiralty & Maritime Group, focused on advising clients in a broad range of maritime, insurance and energy matters. Her experience includes representing the interests of domestic and international insurers, marine terminal owners, ship owners, charterers and P&I Clubs on matters related to insurance coverage and defense, personal injuries, vessel collisions, vessel purchases and documentation, and charter party disputes, among others.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and fluent in Spanish, Adi also has a strong working knowledge of Polish and Croatian. Her knowledge of multiple languages and ability to overcome barriers brought on by cultural differences have proven to be effective tools when assisting clients with matters involving international transactions, foreign entities and witnesses.
