Ms. Hala Nasser is also trial lawyer, with over 30 years of experience in litigation and arbitration, in the fields of maritime, civil and commercial laws. Hala has an LL.M. degree from the London School of Economics & Political Sciences and speaks Arabic, English and French. Throughout her practice, Hala has advised a variety of domestic and international based clients, including auditors, contractors, investors, airlines, protection and indemnity shipping clubs, shipping agencies, sea carriers, international contractors, and has represented several diplomatic missions and non-governmental organisations in Jordan.
Hala has acted as counsel and arbitrator in ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations governed by the Jordanian Arbitration Law and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Hala has also pleaded before the Governing Council at the UN, Geneva Headquarters for cases filed before the UNCC. She has also been commissioned by the International Criminal Court at the Hague to advise the Prosecutor on issues and laws of the Middle East.
