Laura Srebro focuses her practice on estate planning and trust administration. As part of her practice, she guides families and individuals through the complete estate planning process, advising on the best estate and gift tax, income tax, and property tax planning strategies. Laura prepares essential estate planning documents for clients, including revocable living trusts, wills, and powers of attorney in addition to more complex estate planning vehicles such as intentionally defective grantor trusts and generation-skipping trusts. Laura prides herself on providing personalized attention to the details that are important to her clients and their family. Laura grew up in the Napa Valley and now advises clients in both Napa and San Francisco. Prior to joining Coblentz, she was an associate at Gaw Van Male in Napa where she developed experience in estate planning, the administration of complex estates, and elder law.
Laura is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She is a Board Member of Hands Across The Valley and Napa Valley Support Services and is a member of the Stewardship Committee of the Napa Valley Community Foundation. She is also an active member and past President of the Napa County Women Lawyers. As a former member of the Justin Siena Mock Trial team, Laura also now volunteers as an attorney judge for Napa County Mock Trial.
Laura received her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she served as the Executive Managing Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics, and Public Policy and was a member of the Dean’s List. Upon graduation, Laura received the ABA-Bloomberg BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law based on her research and writing in the areas of long-term care planning and end-of-life care issues. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame History Honors Program.
