Katarzyna Szczudlik specializes in advising on personal data protection, privacy and new technologies law, especially for entities from the financial and FinTech sectors. Katarzyna has experience in the area of legal advice for entities from the telecommunications, IT and payment services sectors. She developed and implemented comprehensive procedures, mechanisms and documentation ensuring compliance of organization’s operations with applicable regulations.
She has experience in preparing and negotiating IT contracts – including implementation projects, cloud services and software licenses. She supports financial institutions in the field of outsourcing regulations.
She is interested in the blockchain technology and artificial intelligence, both in terms of the legal aspects of those technologies and their potential use in the area of legal services.
Katarzyna Szczudlik is the author of several dozen articles and studies on the law of new technologies, personal data protection and dispute resolution. She is a regular speaker at Polish and international conferences.
Before joining SSW, she gained experience in reputable Polish and international law firms.
Katarzyna is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Wroclaw, she also holds LL.M. in the field of international dispute resolution from the University of Geneva and in the field of business law from the University of Tilburg. She is a member of IAPP and holds CIPP / E and CIPM certificates, as well as FIP accreditation.
