Brian M. Haney is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on complex business litigation and employment litigation and counseling. Brian regularly represents publicly traded corporations, closely-held businesses and their shareholders, private equity and venture capital funds, restaurants and hospitality establishments, as well as senior executives and other professionals. Brian has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict, has succeeded in multi-million dollar arbitration contests, and has obtained summary judgment and preliminary injunctive relief on behalf of clients in both business litigation and employment disputes. Brian also regularly conducts seminars and training sessions to educate and update managerial and supervisory personnel on complex employment law issues.
In addition to his litigation and counseling practice, Brian frequently serves as outside general counsel to his clients and advises on all manner of business transactions. Brian’s experience includes extensive practice before numerous administrative agencies and boards, including those regulating outdoor and billboard advertising as well as alcoholic beverage and entertainment licensing, together with advising on issues related to corporate formation and governance, real estate leases, licensing agreements, and commercial contracts.
Prior to joining Casner & Edwards, Brian practiced at the first boutique litigation firm in Boston and proudly served as a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
