Before joining Russin & Vecchi, he worked for an international auditing company for three years, and later served as legal counsel and company secretary for six years for a foreign tobacco company. His practice focuses mainly on M&A, taxation, project financing and foreign investment.
He is experienced in particular industries in both business and commercial law (eg, tobacco, spirits, energy, water and automobiles). Hoai has written extensively on tax issues and is experienced in Vietnam’s double taxation treaties. He has advised and assisted clients to handle complicated tax and corporate-restructuring matters.
Educational and Professional Background Hoai received a BA in Law in 1993 from Tashkent State Law Institute, Uzbekistan. He received an LLB in 1996 from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and a BA in Finance and Accounting in 2000 from Ho Chi Minh City University of Commerce.
