Neagle, Rosanna Marrero
Rosanna Marrero Neagle provides clients with business counseling and an in-house counsel perspective on corporate matters. Rosanna is a corporate attorney with more than twenty years of experience as General Counsel and a senior legal advisor at global food and beverage and apparel companies.
Before joining Coblentz, Rosanna was Vice President Legal Affairs at Nestle USA (2007- 2019), where she was General Counsel for Nestle Dreyer’s Ice Cream Company and Nespresso USA divisions. In this role, she oversaw all legal matters, including intellectual property, commercial transactions, sales and distribution matters, employment, compliance, and corporate governance.
Previously, Rosanna was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Clif Bar & Co. Prior to that, from 1993 to 2006, Rosanna served in several executive-level legal positions at Levi-Strauss & Co. From 2002-2006, she was Regional General Counsel of the company’s North American division. From 1999-2002, Rosanna served as Regional General Counsel of the company’s Europe, Africa, and Middle East division located in Brussels, Belgium. In these capacities, Rosanna developed and oversaw legal support for commercial transactions, sales and distribution strategies, antitrust compliance, intellectual property, and employment matters. Prior to 1999, Rosanna was associate general counsel for the company’s U.S. manufacturing and field operations.
Rosanna serves as Chair of the Board of Centro Legal de la Raza, a legal services organization located in Oakland. Centro Legal provides direct legal services to low-income, immigrant, and Latino communities in the areas of housing, employment, and immigration, and works with low-income youth of color to help them attend and graduate from college. Rosanna’s professional affiliations also include the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, and the American Association of Corporate Counsel.
Rosanna earned her J.D. from University of California Hastings College of Law and her B.A. from University of California, Berkeley.
